Remember this post? When Louise was about 18 months, we decided that she needed tubes in her ears. Turns out Celine is in the same boat.
She’s had five ear infections in about six months, and most recently, after ten days of antibiotics, her ears were still infected. Our pediatrician told us to schedule an appointment with an ENT doctor and that tubes are almost positively in her future. I’m much less upset this time around since I know how much it helped Louise and how quick and easy of a surgery it is. I’m a little apprehensive on how Celine is going to handle it since she’s almost nine months younger than Louise was when she had her surgery, but if it’s going to make her feel better and help speech development, I’m all in.
