What a crazy two weeks it was! We had such a great time and we’re so glad we’re back to normal.
We hustled over to my parent’s house the Wednesday before Christmas because Elliotttttttt was there! (And his moms too).
Celine wasted no time in reading all the books and playing with all the toys.
The girls and Elliot got their present from Gigi – she sewed aprons for each and gave them little-person sized whisks, measuring spoons and a glass bowl. She also gave them “3-2-1” cake mix, where they just had to spoon in 3 tablespoons of the mix, 2 tablespoons of water, and put it in the microwave for 1 minute for CAAAAAAAKE. Obviously this was a huge hit.
We spent Christmas Eve at my parent’s house again, with all of my dad’s family. I think it was first time in over 15 years that all of his siblings were in the same place! It was nice to see everyone and catch up with the cousins.
Then it was Christmas morning!
Our big present for the girls was scooters. They loved them so much we had to remind them they had other presents to open!
Of course Louise wasted no time in appropriating Celine’s presents.
We popped over to my parent’s house for Christmas presents part two.
We had to get photos of the grandkids in their matching pajamas!
And matching hats.
Then we played with our toys.
That night, we went over to my grandparent’s house for dinner. Cue the smocked dresses!
We had a day breather and then had my siblings over at night while my parents watched the kids. It had a wild start considering there was a crazy tornado situation, but we had a good time!
